Job summary

ApplyLogic Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to support a federal government customer in Northern Virginia. This senior role leads enterprise data governance programs, defines standards, and protects data assets across complex systems.

The position requires a top-tier candidate with 7+ years in data governance, strong leadership, and ability to collaborate across technical and business teams. Onsite work in the Northern Virginia area with federal clearance is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in data governance, data management, information management, data quality, metadata management, or related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise data governance initiatives or programs.
• Extensive experience with data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models.
• Advanced knowledge of metadata management, data quality, data lineage, data dictionaries, data catalogs, and data stewardship.
• Experience establishing enterprise definitions, ownership, stewardship, classification, and business rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of enterprise data governance and information management programs.
• Establish governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures, and operating models for enterprise data management.
• Provide senior-level expertise in metadata management, data quality, data lineage, data stewardship, data classification, and data ownership.
• Lead the development and implementation of enterprise data dictionaries, metadata repositories, data catalogs, and lineage solutions.
• Establish enterprise standards for data definitions, metadata, business rules, data quality, and stewardship.
• Lead data quality initiatives, including development of quality standards, metrics, monitoring processes, and remediation strategies.
