Job summary

Holder Construction, a national leader in the construction industry, is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the Operations team on a full-time, on-site project in Franklin Furnace, OH.

The role focuses on coordinating onsite trade activities, reviewing monthly payment applications, managing cost controls and risk identification, and mentoring junior staff while upholding Holder's culture of integrity and excellence. Strong communication and tool proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction/engineering or 3+ years of equivalent work experience.
• Outstanding communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Basic understanding of construction tools like Bluebeam, SketchUp, Navisworks, BIM360.

Responsibilities

• Manage onsite trade activities, including coordination of materials from design and fabrication through delivery and final installation.
• Track, review, and validate monthly payment applications for trade contractors.
• Manage cost control and issue resolution, including change orders, RFIs, and proactive identification of potential risks.
• Own overall project execution beyond assigned trade contracts.
• Read, interpret, and apply construction design documents and specifications.
• Lead with integrity and exemplify Holder's culture by mentoring and developing junior associates on the project.
