Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting has partnered with an engineering/construction company local to the Milford, NH area in their search for a Senior Accountant. This position is onsite and will report to the Controller.

The responsibilities will include supporting a growing organization operating in multiple states with different lines of business that support each other. This role reports to a Controller and interacts with folks across operations and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• More than three years experience in a medium to large organization.
• Advanced Excel skills, solid systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of financial statements, accruals, journal entries, project accounting including some cost.
• Balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, vendor and client account reconciliations.
• Assist with month end close, quarter close, year-end, assist with budgets, revenue accounting.
• Support and implement process improvements across accounting as needed, support audits and special projects.
