Job summary

Baxter International in Bellevue, WA is seeking a Senior Accountant to ensure timely financial reporting and maintain strong internal controls. This on-site role involves hands-on GL, AP, journal entries, fixed assets, and state tax duties within Bardy Diagnostics BU.

Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, BA/BS in Finance or Accounting, and CPA is a plus; Power BI and NetSuite experience are highly valued. Competitive base pay with discretionary bonuses.

Qualifications

• Solid GAAP knowledge and ability to apply it to monthly closings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with documentation discipline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly closings by the 2nd day of each month and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with proper documentation.
• Oversee AP operations: invoices, payments, vendor inquiries, and controls.
• Prepare and review journal entries (accruals, prepaids, adjustments).
• Monitor fixed assets and depreciation; ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Support tax functions: state tax filings and apportionment analyses.
• Contribute to ad hoc projects as assigned.
