Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Security Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade security strategies at Langley AFB, Hampton, VA. The role is fully onsite on Joint Base Langley-Eustis and requires TS/SCI clearance.

The successful candidate will guide security architecture, assess risks, develop and enforce security policies, and collaborate with IT and security teams across the SDLC to strengthen the organization’s defense against modern threats.

Qualifications

• High School with 10+ years of experience (or commensurate)
• TS/SCI clearance required
• Expertise in security architecture design and implementation
• Strong ability to assess risks and manage vulnerabilities
• Experience integrating security into SDLC and incident response processes

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise security architecture aligned with objectives and compliance
• Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to prioritize mitigations
• Develop, implement and enforce security policies, standards and procedures
• Collaborate with IT, security teams and management across SDLC and operations
• Lead or participate in security incident response planning and investigations
