Job summary

Globalquest Staffing Solutions is seeking a Contract Scrum Master for an onsite role in Buffalo, NY, with Friday remote option. The position requires guiding agile teams, facilitating events, removing blockers, and protecting the team from disruption.

You will promote continuous improvement, mentor junior Scrum Masters, and ensure alignment with risk and regulatory standards while collaborating with other Agile Leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, plus a minimum of 4 years experience on an agile team and at least 2 years as Scrum Master.
• Experience with scaled agile practices and cross-team coordination.
• Strong proficiency with Jira, Confluence and collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters and coach teams to higher levels of agile performance.
• Identify and remove blockers, coordinate with other teams, and escalate risks when needed.
• Promote continuous improvement through learning opportunities and communities of practice.
• Ensure alignment with risk and regulatory standards within the organization.
