Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing in Illinois seeks a School Social Worker for a full-time, onsite assignment serving middle and high school students. You will provide direct social-emotional support, mentorship to interns, and collaborate with teachers and families to foster a positive learning environment.

The role requires IL SSW license and the Professional Educator License (PEL). Experience in a school setting is preferred, and strong communication is essential to support student success and staff

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social-emotional support and counseling services to middle and high school students.
• Assess students needs and develop individualized plans to address barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and support staff to promote student success.
• Supervise and mentor a team of social work interns, offering feedback and fostering professional growth.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with state and district documentation requirements.
• Participate in student support teams and recommend effective interventions.
