Qualifications

• MSW from an accredited program.
• Maine licensure or eligibility for school social work credentials.
• Experience in a school-based or youth-focused setting preferred.
• Knowledge of child development, crisis intervention, and behavioral strategies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• On-site, Monday-Friday, 35–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct social-emotional and behavioral support to students.
• Collaborate with school staff and families to create and implement intervention plans.
• Conduct assessments to determine student needs and progress.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams (IEPs, 504s) to advocate for appropriate services.
• Deliver group and individual counseling sessions as needed.
• Serve as a liaison for connecting families to community resources.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with district policies.
