Job summary

Playworks Michigan is seeking a Site Coordinator to support implementation of Playworks programming by coaching school staff and collaborating with administrators across 2-4 partner schools in Southeast Michigan. This is a hands-on, in-person role focused on applying Playworks strategies and ensuring engaging play environments.

You will work directly with school staff, recess teams, and students to model and coach Playworks practices, tracking program delivery and maintaining clear

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience working directly with youth in school or youth development settings.
• Experience coaching or training adults and school personnel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to facilitate small and large group interactions.
• Proven ability to build professional relationships with school communities.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace and standard digital tools.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with school administration, educators, and recess teams to schedule program delivery.
• Deliver on-site coaching, consultation, and modeling to school personnel.
• Support implementation of core program components, including recess, Junior Coach, and Class Game Time.
• Provide school personnel with feedback, action steps, and resources aligned to Playworks practices.
• Maintain consistent communication with school leadership regarding program implementation and support needs.
• Maintain accurate program documentation, schedules, and reporting.
• Track and organize program data, notes, and communication.
• Provide regular internal updates on program implementation and school priorities.
• Represent Playworks in a professional manner across all partner interactions.
