Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking an onsite, school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a short-term full-time role beginning mid-January. You will support preK-5th grade students with evaluation, IEP development, and direct therapy in a structured school setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in SLP with KS licensure or eligibility, CCC-SLP preferred, and experience with school-aged children. CFY candidates are encouraged to apply; collaborative teamwork and ongoing professional development

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active KS SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; knowledge of IEP processes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support goals.
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports per policies.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on goals and progress.
• Stay current with best practices and professional development.
