Job summary

EDU Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in a school-based setting. This is a full-time, on-site position for the current school year, offering a collaborative environment with educators and support staff.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, an active NC license (or eligibility to obtain), and ideally CCC-SLP.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Active NC SLP license or eligibility to obtain before start.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.
• Experience with school-aged children preferred.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Knowledge of IEP processes, therapy documentation, and educational service delivery.
• Structured school-based setting with built-in holidays.
• Collaboration with educators and support staff to impact student success.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals
• Maintain detailed records and progress reports in accordance with school and district policies
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student goals and progress
• Stay current with best practices and continue professional development as required
