Job summary

Global Power Components in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Safety Technician to help maintain a safe, compliant manufacturing environment on onsite operations five days a week. You will support safety programs, conduct inspections, and collaborate with production teams to prevent incidents.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30-hour training completed or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular workplace safety inspections to identify and assess potential hazards.
• Implement safety plans and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Assist with training sessions for employees on workplace safety procedures and protocols.
• Assist with investigation of workplace accidents to determine the cause and make recommendations for future prevention.
• Assist with maintaining records of workplace safety incidents and track progress on implementation of corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Promote safe work behaviors on the production floor and reinforce a strong safety culture.
