Job summary

Entergy Corporation is seeking a Safety Supervisor to oversee safety program development and execution, and to supervise safety specialists across Entergy sites in Louisiana. The role emphasizes evaluating and improving employee and contractor safety programs and ensuring accountability across a significant capital work portfolio.

The incumbent will lead safety teams, interpret OSHA regulations, analyze safety data for gaps, and guide root-cause analyses.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 4 years related work experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety programs.
• Experience leading safety initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of safety specialists’ activities, execution of work and reporting.
• Lead root-cause analysis and causal determination teams for safety related events and injuries.
• Leadership of Safety Advisory Boards, employee teams, and other safety initiatives.
• Develop and coordinate effective storm response plans for emergency response efforts.
• Administrative activities including approvals of time, expense, performance appraisals, fleet, etc.
