ESFM, the facilities management division of Compass Group USA, seeks a Safety Manufacturing Manager for onsite work in Florence, KY. The role focuses on reducing injuries through safety programs, site inspections, and policy implementation, with up to 40% travel and a strong emphasis on training and reporting.

Preferred is a Bachelor’s degree; experience in occupational safety programs, investigations, and regulatory interpretation is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience in implementing a variety of occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluations and evaluating cost and risk factors.
• Ability to interpret and apply a variety of laws, rules and regulations.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
• Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%.
• Ability to work well with internal and external business partners.

Responsibilities

• Reduce claims and lost time injuries by providing safety and workers' compensation support.
• Train; conduct site visits/ inspections; implement policies and procedures.
• Provide monthly status reports to local management.
• Monitor OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations and client policies.
• Develop and administer loss prevention and control programs.
• Coordinate return-to-work for injured employees.
• Lead safety inspections and hazard rectification.
• Support incident investigations and safety communications.
• Travel up to 40% as required.
