Job summary

Safety Worxs, LLC in Fargo, ND seeks a Safety Coordinator for a 3-month flood management project. You will lead on-site safety efforts, conduct inspections, and drive compliance with safety programs on heavy civil construction sites.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' safety experience in heavy civil construction.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and climb multiple flights of stairs.

Responsibilities

• Administer safety program compliance and lead accident prevention on site.
• Conduct site inspections of project work areas and equipment.
• Develop and implement safety programs meeting company safety standards.
• Assist in accident investigations and determine root causes.
• Perform jobsite inspections and audits focusing on hazards and behaviors.
• Coordinate safety meetings and training for new and existing staff.
• Participate in regulatory inspections to ensure compliance.
• Support Area Safety Manager/Area Project Manager with assigned tasks.
