Job summary

Lennox is seeking a Safety Engineer to develop, implement, and monitor safety and environmental programs in Stone Mountain, GA. This role emphasizes driving year-over-year improvements while complying with environmental standards.

Key duties include designing facilities and procedures with HSE input, updating policies, and supporting manufacturing engineering initiatives across the site. Strong communication and 1+ year experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• At least 1 year related experience.
• Developing knowledge of health, safety, environmental and workers compensation best practices.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Knowledge of training program development.
• Developing expertise in driving continuous improvement in HSE.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design and development of facilities, work areas and procedures with HSE input.
• Contribute to initiatives that drive continuous HSE improvement.
• Prepare and update environmental policies and manuals.
• Support compliance with HSE regulations and changes in laws.
• Serve as liaison for regulatory agencies as needed.
• Support manufacturing engineering initiatives across the facility.
