Job summary

ZACHRY Group is seeking a Safety Representative to work closely with Line Management and Operations to uphold safety guidelines and respond to variances at the job site in Gregory, Texas. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with the Operations Team and supporting the Safety Support Team in evaluating unusual situations.

Key duties include observing conditions, taking corrective action, conducting safety briefings, PPE inspection, incident investigations, and basic first aid.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and valid driver's license.
• At least 3 years in Industrial Field Safety.
• Maintenance/TAR experience preferred.
• Must meet all physical requirements.
• Able to work at heights over 300 ft.
• Knowledge of basic paperwork.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Observe job site conditions to ensure safe work conditions.
• Take corrective action for unsafe conditions and report.
• Monitor workforce for unsafe acts and correct promptly.
• Report observations to management.
• Assist in safety planning and briefs.
• Assist with safety briefs or TSA’s.
• Respond to incidents with emergency aid and corrective actions.
• Assist in issuing and inspecting PPE.
• Assist investigations of incidents.
• Train to administer first aid.
• Assist in case management of injured employees.
