Job summary

Wonderful Citrus LLC is hiring for a 2nd shift Security/Safety position located 100% onsite in Gloucester City, New Jersey. The role supports safety programs, incident investigations, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with plant personnel on hazards and training.

The pay rate is $24.72–$26.50 per hour, with full-time hours from 3:30 PM until close. Benefits and ongoing training are provided as part of The Wonderful Company commitment to employee development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or AA/AS preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office, email, and general computer use.
• Understanding of packinghouse/warehouse processes and flow operations.
• Strong observational and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communications skills.
• Able to work flexible schedules/shifts as needed for 7-day operation.
• Proven ability to plan daily/weekly tasks and adapt to competing demands.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels and functions.
• Knowledgeable in OSHA/CALOSHA regulations.
• Experience administering personnel policies and procedures.
• Projects a positive and professional image.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Responds to and investigates work related injuries.
• Guides and assists plant personnel with safety opportunities.
• Reviews incident trends and recommends corrective actions.
• Supports forklift and aerial lift certification processes.
• Interacts with 3rd party organizations to meet project goals safely.
• Supports safety training programs.
• Validates incident report information for accuracy.
• Investigates incidents with cross functional teams to determine root causes.
• Monitors safety programs to meet OSHA/CALOSHA regulations.
• Assists with development and execution of safety programs.
• Conducts audits to identify workplace hazards and corrective actions.
• Conducts exterior security patrols and inspections.
• Responds to service calls including alarm responses and door access.
• Maintains understanding of site emergency procedures.
• Reports security activities and recommends improvements.
• Participates in daily pass-downs to next shift.
• Supports events with traffic control and other security items.
• All other duties as assigned by the Safety Manager.
