Wonderful Citrus seeks a Safety Specialist for EHS Operations in Gloucester City, NJ. The role is onsite, second shift, focusing on reducing incidents and health exposures. You will develop procedures, investigate injuries, and support safety training programs.

Responsibilities include incident reviews, program audits, and coordination with external organizations. Requires a high school diploma, MS Office skills, and knowledge of OSHA/CAL/OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AA/AS preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Understanding of packinghouse/warehouse processes and safety practices.
• Strong observational and analytical abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responds to and investigates work related injuries and notifies management.
• Guides plant personnel on safety and health opportunities.
• Reviews incident trends and recommends corrective actions.
• Supports safety training programs and certifications.
• Investigates incidents with cross functional teams to determine root causes.
• Monitors OSHA/CAL-OSHA regulations and safety programs.
