Job summary

Wonderful Citrus in Gloucester City, NJ is seeking a Safety Specialist, Environmental, Health & Safety Operations, to manage safety procedures onsite on the second shift.

You will investigate incidents, enforce OSHA/CALOSHA standards, train staff, and coordinate with security and operations to reduce injuries. The role requires strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced packinghouse environment.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma; AA/AS preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and computer usage.
• Knowledge of OSHA/CALOSHA regulations.
• Ability to interpret regulations and communicate findings clearly.
• Experience with safety programs in packinghouse/warehouse environments.
• Able to work 7-day operation and 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and investigate work-related injuries and incidents.
• Review safety data and recommend corrective actions.
• Support forklift and aerial lift safety certifications.
• Conduct safety trainings and audits to meet OSHA standards.
• Maintain site emergency procedures and report on safety activities.
