Job summary

The Guidance Center seeks a dedicated security professional to monitor the safety of members and staff on site in Arizona. You will patrol interior and exterior areas, respond to aggressive behavior, and assist in de-escalation using approved techniques.

This role requires a High School Diploma or GED, one year of safety experience, English proficiency, a valid Arizona driver's license, and the ability to obtain an AZ Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card. Onsite work only, age 21+.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
One year of safety experience.
Ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
Must obtain and maintain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Valid AZ driver's license.

Responsibilities

Monitor the safety of members and employees.
Patrol the interior and exterior of the property, including parking lots for potential problems and safety issues.
Respond to calls for code green and assist in de-escalating situations using approved techniques.
Assist PAC Unit and Crisis Stabilization Unit with high acuity clients.
Promote safe work practices and report safety concerns.
Provide support to providers and members in safety and de-escalation situations.
Facilitate training as needed.
Observe member behavior and report undesirable behavior.
Assist staff with recreational programs and monitor facility safety.
