Job summary

ISC Constructors, L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support jobsite safety, training, compliance, hazard recognition, incident reporting, and safety recordkeeping on active construction projects.

The role requires industrial or construction safety experience, knowledge of OSHA requirements, and the ability to communicate safety expectations across crews and management. Strong documentation skills and Microsoft Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of industrial or construction safety field experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA requirements.
• Experience conducting safety orientations, jobsite observations, inspections, and safety meetings.
• Ability to recognize workplace hazards and recommend corrective measures.
• Current First Aid, CPR, and AED certification.
• Strong written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to utilize electronic safety management and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site-specific safety orientations for ISC Associates and subcontractors.
• Communicate safety requirements from ISC, client, project, and regulatory safety requirements.
• Assist with and conduct scheduled safety meetings.
• Participate in toolbox talks, pre-task planning, JSAs, and JHAs.
• Provide safety guidance and coaching to Associates and subcontractors.
• Help employees understand jobsite hazards, required controls, and safe-work expectations.
• Support ongoing safety education and hazard-awareness activities.
• Monitor jobsite activities for compliance with safety requirements.
• Document safety observations and communicate findings to project and safety leadership.
• Recommend corrective measures for identified safety concerns.
• Maintain accurate and organized jobsite safety records.
• Prepare and distribute safety reports and observations to project and safety personnel.
• Maintain records in accordance with requirements.
• Use Microsoft Office applications to create and maintain safety documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of jobsite safety processes and performance.
