Job summary

Actalent in Boise, ID is seeking a Safety Specialist to manage onsite safety, health, and environmental requirements during installation and sustaining activities. You will lead audits, incident investigations, and safety trainings to foster a culture of safety excellence.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operations, contractors, and customers, developing site safety plans, conducting weekly audits, and tracking corrective actions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of EHS experience in a professional environment.
• 1+ years of experience creating safety plans and SOPs.
• OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30/500 preferred.
• Experience with construction safety and audits.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, evaluate, and implement health and safety policies, programs, and procedures as assigned.
• Increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization.
• Investigate serious or critical injuries and near misses.
• Assist with root cause analysis and track corrective actions to completion.
• Investigate hazardous working conditions and report findings.
