Responsibilities include administering medications, rounds with physicians, and ensuring service plans are followed. Requires TX RN license, nursing degree and strong clinical skills for senior care.

Qualifications

• Nursing license/degree from an accredited program.
• Ability to follow complex care plans and documentation.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow the individual service plan; administers or supervises treatments per physician.
• Make rounds with physicians; document visits on charts.
• Administer injections; perform in-house testing; record vital signs.
• Document acute episodes or significant changes in resident status.
• Supervise aides and assign duties; monitor performance and breaks.
• Collaborate with Activity Director, DON, and Nurse Aides on activities.
• Attend staff meetings and coordinate with DON.
• Prepare and administer prescribed medications; manage refills.
• Monitor medication room, cart, and refrigerator.
• Maintain accurate medication records and charts.
