Job summary

SGS, a global leader in inspection, verification, testing and certification, is seeking a Field Test Engineer I for our ArcLight Wireless team in the New Jersey/New York market. This full-time, on-site role focuses on executing tests, QA, and log analysis for RF systems and wireless devices.

You will perform test execution, maintain inventory, handle shipments, and generate daily reports. Travel may be required, with an emphasis on collaboration and precise documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in test execution, QA, manual testing and software testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent Word and Excel skills
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Experience with mobile device testing is a plus
• Experience with automation testing tools is a plus
• 5G basic understanding of all the major concepts
• Valid Driver License with clean record and comfortable in a car

Responsibilities

• Test execution and quality assurance across RF systems and test environments.
• Manual testing, software testing, and post-processing of logs.
• Maintain inventory, manage shipments to/from the office, and assist with daily reports.
• Occasional travel as required and collaboration with team members.
