Job summary

SC Works Trident is seeking a Construction Manager in Allendale, SC to oversee residential rehabilitation and construction projects. You will conduct site visits, coordinate contractors, review estimates and bids, and monitor budgets and timelines to ensure compliance with codes and program requirements.

The role requires at least five years in residential construction or related field; a college degree is preferred, with a high school diploma as minimum.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in residential construction, rehabilitation, project management, or building inspection.
• Knowledge of construction methods, estimating, building codes, and safety practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee residential rehabilitation and construction projects.
• Conduct site visits and project inspections.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors.
• Review construction estimates, bids, and scopes of work.
• Monitor project budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with building codes and program requirements.
• Verify completed work prior to payment approval.
• Prepare construction progress reports and project documentation.
• Assist homeowners and contractors in resolving project issues.
• Maintain project files, photographs, and inspection records.
