Job summary

Infinity Engineering Consultants, LLC seeks a full-time Resident Inspector for a civil construction project in Laplace, LA. On-site role, monitoring progress, preparing daily logs, and coordinating with contractor and owner.

Requires at least 3 years in commercial/industrial or municipal construction, HS diploma or GED, and strong organization and communication skills. Lift Station experience preferred; position is temporary with negotiable pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial, industrial, or municipal construction in roles such as foreman or inspector.
• High school education or GED.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods and techniques.
• Good organization and communication skills.
• Ability to record photographs and file reports via online processes.
• Ability to use MS Word and MS Excel.
• Prior Lift Station experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and monitor progress, attend meetings with Contractor and Owner.
• Review the contractor schedule; contractor holds scheduling responsibility.
• Review pay applications for progress and material verification.
• Document observations and maintain orderly project files and reports.
• Prepare daily reports with hours, weather, change orders and observations.
• Assist in substantial completion and final acceptance walk-throughs.
