Job summary

Waggoner Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Resident Project Representative in our Bossier City, LA office to support the Project Manager/Client Account Manager with quality planning, design and technical oversight within budget and time constraints.

The role requires high school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience, strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, and the ability to read construction drawings and contract docs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with at least 3 years related experience.
• Knowledge of civil engineering principles and municipal construction standards.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans and specs; manage data and reports.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspection work for environmental, water, sewer, and public works projects; ensure compliance with plans, standards, and regulations.
• Review and process contractor invoices.
• Respond to contractor RFIs and review/approve change directives or change orders.
• Prepare substantial completion punch lists and review shop drawings.
