The candidate will design and execute experiments, analyze results, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality results in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant post-college laboratory experience.
• Hands-on wet-lab techniques experience.
• Experience with GMP/GLP and Design Control.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience in assay development or diagnostic testing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experiments to support diagnostic product and assay development projects.
• Design, execute, and optimize experimental protocols with minimal supervision while documenting observations and results.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data and apply scientific judgment to support project strategies and decision‑making.
• Prepare technical reports, protocols, study summaries, quantitative analyses, and presentations for project teams and stakeholders.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and compliant laboratory records in accordance with GMP, GLP, and Design Control requirements.
• Troubleshoot experimental and technical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional partners to support project planning and execution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute ideas that improve laboratory efficiency, quality, and reproducibility.
• Support the development and implementation of laboratory methods, procedures, and best practices.
• Train and support colleagues on laboratory procedures, techniques, and quality requirements while promoting a Quality First Time mindset.
• Exercise sound scientific judgment when selecting appropriate methods and techniques to address complex laboratory problems.
• Conduct scientific literature searches and incorporate relevant technical information into experimental planning and problem-solving activities.
