Job summary

dawarconsulting is seeking a Research Associate I for a world-leading life sciences client in Tucson, AZ, to support early-phase assay development within the PHCS/CDx group. The role involves laboratory experimentation, manufacturing procedures, and basic computational data processing prior to clinical laboratory transfer.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 0-2 years of lab experience; advanced degrees or more experience may be overqualified.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field.
• 0-2 years of relevant laboratory/industry experience.
• Master’s/PhD or >2 years experience considered overqualified.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, development, and manufacturing laboratory experiments.
• Design, execute, interpret, and document experiments.
• Prepare protocols, technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses.
• Present experimental results to project and department teams.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and electronic documentation.
• Follow GMP, GLP, Design Control, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Conduct assigned experiments independently and support team members with basic computational biology tasks, including running scripts and reading code.
