Job summary

EDF power solutions in Ivanhoe, MN, seeks Renewable Energy Technicians to assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of wind and solar systems & storage. You will learn safety protocols, perform routine maintenance, and gain hands-on experience under supervision.

Two levels exist: Technician 1 focuses on learning and safety; Technician 2 performs preventative maintenance and independent tasks, possibly joining on-call rotations. Training is provided in Minnesota.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–2 years of experience in renewable energy or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in renewable energy or a similar discipline for Technician 2.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of wind turbines, PV systems, and storage.
• Support field technicians with routine maintenance and installations.
• Test electrical components and mechanical systems; collect data for analysis.
• Follow safety protocols and EDF Core Values.
• Attend safety and technical training as required.
