Job summary

Mujin US in Suwanee, GA is seeking a Field Service Technician to support robotic deployments through remote and onsite assistance. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical industrial robotic systems, perform preventive maintenance, read technical documents, do basic robotic programming, and communicate effectively with customers and managers.

This role requires onsite customer support at the primary location and other sites; travel by car and plane may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering experience, electromechanical focus in warehouse automation preferred.
• Knowledge of Python and/or C++, PLC experience.
• Ability to read specification sheets and procure mechanical and electrical components from suppliers.
• CAD interpretation using Autodesk Inventor or AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Set up industrial robots, demo cells, end effectors, cameras, lighting, and robot controllers.
• Execute robot demos for customers and support remote deployments.
• Support installation and configuration of Mujin controller and other equipment at customer sites.
• Design custom metal parts for robot hands, frames, pedestals and mounting plates.
