Job summary

Mujin in Suwanee, GA is seeking a Field Service Technician to support robotics deployments. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems, perform preventive maintenance, read docs, do basic robotics programming, and communicate with customers and managers.

This role requires travel to customer sites, onsite and remote support, and the ability to work with Mujin controllers, vision systems, end effectors, and CAD drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering experience, preferably electromechanical in a warehouse automation setting.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++; PLC experience.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills to ensure equipment functionality and client satisfaction.
• Experience interpreting/generating CAD models or electrical drawings (Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Set up industrial robots, demo cells, end effectors, cameras, lighting, and robot controllers.
• Execute robot system demos for customers.
• Provide on-site and remote support for deployed Mujin systems.
• Assist installation and configuration of Mujin controllers and other equipment at customer sites.
• Design custom metal parts for fabrication (robot hands, frames, plates).
