The General Hospital Corporation on Parkman Street is seeking an on-site, per diem role to assist with patient care under supervision of a licensed therapist. Responsibilities include helping therapists, maintaining the treatment area, and supporting daily operations of the rehab team.

Qualifications require a high school diploma and strong patient service skills, with an interest in pursuing a physical therapy career and familiarity with medical terminology.

Competenze

• Education – High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: ability to organize/prioritize, knowledge of medical terminology, strong patient/customer service, assist with examinations and procedures, problem solving and analytical abilities.

Mansioni

• Assists therapists and assistants with patient care.
• Assists in the daily upkeep of the physical environment, linen, and equipment maintenance.
• Meets regularly with Rehab staff to update therapy programs and assess effectiveness.
• Is alert for patient safety at all times.
• Cleans therapy mats daily, utilizing established departmental procedures.
• Assist the Rehabilitation Therapist with treatment as directed.
