Job summary

Rehab Physical Therapy Section at Cooper Green Mercy is seeking a part-time Rehabilitation Technician to assist therapists with patient care and therapeutic programs. You will prepare patients and equipment for sessions, support exercises, and help maintain a clean, organized treatment area onsite.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR/BLS certification via the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with established therapeutic exercise programs and activities under supervision.
• Prepare patients and treatment areas by positioning patients and assembling equipment and supplies.
• Apply basic therapeutic modalities as directed by the supervising therapist and in accordance with clinic policies.
• Observe patients during treatment and promptly report changes in condition to the supervising therapist.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain treatment rooms, equipment, and therapy areas per infection control standards.
• Stock linens, supplies, and treatment materials; monitor inventory and notify when replenishment is needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks including patient flow, scheduling support, and filing.
• Ensure safety and proper maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
