Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring a Registered Nurse I to support a DC government agency focused on workers' compensation and return-to-work programs. The role is onsite, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

ET, with no holiday duties. It is a contract engagement with one base year and up to four option years. The RN will coordinate care among injured workers, physicians, employers, and stakeholders, ensuring timely medical care and safe return-to-work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited professional nursing program.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia.
• 1 year of specialized nursing experience in medical assessment, planning, and evaluation.
• Experience in orthopedics, neurology, rehabilitation, or utilization review.
• Knowledge of clinical concepts, case management, and workers' compensation issues.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and EMR/claims systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical case management for the Public Sector Workers' Compensation and Return to Work programs.
• Conduct medical assessments and evaluate clinical status and recovery progress.
• Develop and monitor individualized case management plans for safe return to work.
• Coordinate care among workers, physicians, employers, and stakeholders.
• Review medical records and determine medical necessity and appropriateness of care.
• Perform utilization, treatment plan, and medical billing reviews.
• Identify cases for return-to-work initiatives and coordinate transitional duties.
• Establish return-to-work status and monitoring of recovery timelines.
• Communicate case status with stakeholders and prepare status reports.
• Provide guidance on workers' comp medical management and injury prevention.
