Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive medical case management services in support of the Public Sector Workers' Compensation Program and the Return to Work Program.
  • Conduct medical assessments and evaluate injured workers' clinical status, treatment plans, functional capabilities, and recovery progress to facilitate timely and appropriate medical care.
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and revise individualized case management plans designed to promote recovery, maximize medical improvement, and facilitate safe return to work outcomes.
  • Coordinate and manage medical care among injured workers, treating physicians, specialists, rehabilitation providers, employers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure continuity of care and effective case resolution.
  • Review and evaluate medical records, treatment plans, utilization requests, and related documentation to determine medical necessity, appropriateness of care, and compliance with applicable workers' compensation guidelines.
  • Conduct utilization review, treatment plan review, and medical billing review to support cost effective and medically appropriate care.

Position Summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is hiring a Registered Nurse I on behalf of its client, a District of Columbia government agency responsible for administering the District's workers' compensation, safety, and risk management programs. The Registered Nurse I provides comprehensive medical case management services in support of the Public Sector Workers' Compensation Program and the Return to Work Program, coordinating care among injured workers, treating physicians, employers, and other stakeholders to promote recovery and safe return to work outcomes. This position works onsite in a shared, open office environment during core operating hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, and does not perform duties on federal or District holidays or during administrative closings.

Additional Requirements
