Job summary

WorkCare, Inc. seeks a Registered Nurse to provide direct on-site patient care within the nursing scope, manage workers’ compensation claims, and coordinate the Return to Work program in collaboration with the CMD, customers, and the Injury Care team.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm. Responsibilities include first aid, care coordination, wellness activities, health screenings, and maintaining medical records.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid RN license in California.
• BSN is highly preferred.
• Must hold current BLS certification.
• If needed, NIOSH, CAOHC DOT Drug and Alcohol testing.
• Certification in Occupational Health preferred.
• Proficient in basic office software applications.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the RN scope and manage workers’ compensation claims.
• Coordinate care with WorkCare’s Injury Care program and escalation services.
• Provide episodic care for minor medical issues and make treatment recommendations.
• Manage Return to Work and case management of work-related incidents.
• Support health fairs, vaccinations, and wellness activities.
• Maintain medical records and clinic utilization reports.
• Lead emergency response drills and participate in safety meetings.
