Job summary

Dover Food Retail seeks an entry level Assembler in Richmond, VA to build refrigeration cases and sub-assemblies. You will read work orders, identify parts, and fasten components using hand and power tools as part of a production team.

This onsite role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and flexibility to move between stations. We value reliability, teamwork, and basic manufacturing knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Demonstrated strong and effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an “A” order.
• Identify parts used on their product line and placement.
• Identify power and hand tools used on their line.
• Read and comprehend the work order.
• Assemble using hand or power tools.
• Read rulers and measuring instruments.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets or fasteners.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Contribute as a member of an assembly team.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
