Job summary

Dover Food Retail (DFR), part of Dover Corporation, is seeking an Assembler I - Ends in South Chesterfield, VA. You will assemble refrigeration cases and sub-assemblies, read orders, identify parts and tools, and operate hand or power tools at various stations to build complete units.

We require a HS Diploma/GED with manufacturing experience preferred. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED.
• Previous manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend an “A” order.
• Identify parts and their placement on the product line.
• Identify power and hand tools used on the line.
• Read and comprehend the work order.
• Perform assembly-type functions with hand or power tools.
• Read rulers and measuring instruments and use them accurately.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, rivets, or fasteners.
• Work at different stations as production needs require.
• Collaborate with the assembly team to finish units.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and tooling.
