Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited educational body.
• Completion of an AMA approved Radiation Therapy Program.
• Certification from ARRT or eligible to sit for the board exam.
• License with the Illinois Emergency Medical Agency (IEMA).

Responsibilities

• Perform initial set-up checks, chart QA for new set-ups, and maintain consistency in daily setups.
• Perform simulation and treatment procedures.
• Assist with training and evaluation of radiation therapy students.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Attend staff meetings and department in-services.
• Maintain compliance with medical center and regulatory agency standards.
