Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories is seeking talented undergraduate students pursuing advanced degrees in Science, Engineering, and Mathematics to join our START Intern Institute. You will engage in educational workforce development, work on advanced research projects, collaborate with leading experts, and contribute to solutions with national security impact.

On a typical day, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, assist in experiments, use computational tools, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

• Must attend Prairie View A&M Career Week Event
• Currently enrolled full time in spring term immediately preceding the internship (or graduating in spring)
• Pursuing a science, engineering, or math major
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0
• Able to work up to 40 hours per week during summer
• Must be a U.S. citizen eligible for a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on research projects.
• Assist in design, execution, and analysis of experiments.
• Utilize computational tools and software for data analysis and modeling.
• Contribute to development of innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to team members and stakeholders
