Job summary

Geek+ is seeking an Associate Quality Engineer for our new Atlanta manufacturing facility. You’ll join a team on the shop floor, helping to build a robust quality system as robots move from parts to production.

The role emphasizes hands-on inspection, failure investigations, and data-backed problem solving in a fast-moving robotics environment. You’ll work with manufacturing and design teams to establish control plans, test procedures, and supplier quality processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and BOMs.
• Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
• High attention to detail and hands-on aptitude with physical products.
• Clear written communication; writing reports consumed by others.
• Willingness to spend majority of time on the production floor.
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta metro area; onsite role.

Responsibilities

• Perform and support incoming, in-process, and end-of-line inspection against drawings, specifications, and control plans.
• Execute and document functional and performance tests on finished robots.
• Support first-article inspection for new parts, suppliers, and engineering changes.
• Help develop inspection instructions, checklists, and acceptance criteria for new products and stations.
• Document nonconformances and drive disposition; track corrective actions to closure.
