Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Quality Engineering or Statistics preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing and quality field
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt and/or CQE equivalent training and certification preferred.
• Knowledge of gaging and inspection techniques, including GD&T

Responsibilities

• Engage daily with Operations and Engineering personnel to facilitate problem-solving and corrective actions.
• Use statistical techniques and preventive action methods to control sources of variation affecting quality, cost, and schedule.
• Maintain quality procedures, corrective actions, and supplier quality aspects for new products and supplier approvals.
• Gather and process quality data and provide monthly internal and external reports.
• Lead DFMEA & PFMEA, creating control plans with embedded process controls.
• Support NCMR, PPAPs, MSAs as required.
• Define and monitor quality plans for incoming, in-process, and finished goods inspections.
