Job summary

Boston Beer Co. is seeking a curious, analytical Co-op for our Corporate Quality team. You will gather, validate, model, interpret, and present data from across the organization to support quality and brewery operations.

This six-month program runs January 4, 2027 through June 25, 2027 and is fully onsite at our Cincinnati Brewery or Breinigsville Brewery. You will work with datasets, collaborate with stakeholders, and apply statistical methods to real-world manufacturing challenges while

Qualifications

• Current third- or fourth-year undergraduate student pursuing a degree in data analytics, data science, statistics, mathematics, business analytics, computer science, engineering, or another analytics-based program.
• Excellent data analysis skills.
• Demonstrated curiosity when reviewing and interpreting data.
• Ability to integrate and extract information from datasets using relevant programs and coding languages.
• Experience using SQL.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
• Must continue to be enrolled in school upon completion of the co-op.

Responsibilities

• Data Gathering: Collect data from relevant business, quality, manufacturing, and operational sources.
• Data Validation: Review datasets for completeness, accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
• Data Modeling: Prepare, clean, and structure datasets; apply analytical methods; use SQL to integrate and organize data.
• Data Interpretation: Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights; relate findings to quality and manufacturing context.
• Presenting Data: Develop reports, visualizations, and presentations; communicate findings to cross-functional partners.
