Job summary

Actalent is hiring a Quality Control Technician in Monroe, NC. You will perform hands-on visual, mechanical, and CMM inspections to verify component conformance to drawings and specifications, manage inspection data in MES/QMS, and support calibration activities.

You will apply GD&T and coordinate with Quality and Engineering on nonconformances, PPAP/MSA/FAI as needed, and participate in 5S and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Hands-on visual, mechanical, and dimensional inspections in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Operate CMMs to verify dimensional characteristics and product conformity.
• Record traceable inspection data in MES and QMS systems.
• Interpret GD&T and engineering drawings to apply inspection requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections per drawings, specs, and procedures.
• Set up inspection equipment and run existing CMM programs.
• Document nonconformances and coordinate with Quality/Engineering for disposition.
• Support calibration activities and maintenance of inspection equipment.
• Contribute to PPAP, MSA, and FAI processes as applicable.
• Participate in 5S, safety programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
