Job summary

Ascentec Engineering, LLC is seeking a Quality Control Technician II to inspect CNC-machined components, verify drawings and tolerances, and prepare Dimensional Inspection Reports for customers. This on-site role collaborates with CNC operators and machinists to maintain product quality throughout manufacturing.

The position emphasizes reading engineering prints, GD&T fundamentals, and using precision instruments in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with dimensional tolerances.
• Basic GD&T knowledge and experience applying engineering specifications.
• Hands-on use of precision inspection tools and documentation of results.
• Strong attention to detail and clear communication of findings.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of CNC components.
• Interpret drawings, determine inspection requirements and tolerances.
• Use calipers, micrometers, gages, and granite surfaces to verify conformity.
• Conduct visual inspections in cleanroom environments and document results.
• Prepare dimensional inspection reports for customer review.
• Identify nonconformances and communicate quality concerns to teams.
