Job summary

Kokosing Industrial, Inc. in Point Pleasant, WV, is seeking an experienced Quality Control professional to oversee construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and utilities.

This onsite role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and at least 3 years in QC or field engineering. You will implement quality plans, coordinate with project teams, inspect work, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• 3+ years' experience in a quality control role or construction field engineering.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Control quality as specified in project plans and specs.
• Maintain an effective project quality control system.
• Prepare and submit quality inspection and testing plans.
• Assist with work plan preparation and submittals.
• Communicate with Project Manager and team to ensure quality standards.
• Ensure subcontractors and vendors meet required quality and documentation.
• Perform on-site and off-site quality inspections of self-perform and subcontracted work.
• Provide technical advice on design, construction, or repairs.
• Inspect sites to monitor progress and conformance to design and safety standards.
• Provide periodic quality reports describing project health.
