Job summary

Kokosing Industrial, Inc. seeks a Quality Control professional to oversee construction and maintenance of buildings and facilities. This onsite role is based in Point Pleasant, WV, with field and office duties.

Responsibilities include implementing the QC plan, documenting activities, inspecting work, coordinating with managers, and ensuring conformance to design and safety standards. A bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and 3+ years in QC or field engineering are

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and other technical drawings.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Work as part of a team.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Control the quality specified in the project plans and specifications.
• Maintain an effective project quality control system.
• Prepare and submit accurate documentation of all quality control activities.
• Write and submit quality inspection and testing plans.
• Assist the project team with preparation and submittal of work plans.
• Communicate with the Project Manager and other team members regarding execution of work.
• Ensure subcontractors and vendors provide the required quality of work and documentation.
• Perform onsite and offsite quality inspections of all work elements.
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and repairs.
• Inspect project sites to monitor progress and conformance to design specifications and safety standards.
• Provide periodic quality reports to management.
