Job summary

The Tepa Companies in Hot Springs, AR, seek a Quality Control Manager to lead site QC on a historic rehabilitation project within Hot Springs National Park. You will enforce quality standards, conduct tests, review plans, and coordinate with the superintendent and subcontractors to manage non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of Construction Management experience.
• Experience establishing and maintaining effective quality control systems on federal projects.
• Experience with historical renovations preferred.
• Knowledge of construction plans, specs, shop drawings, and testing for QC.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish with a focus on quality control.
• Lead meetings to establish standards and verify submittals are checked and signed off.
• Verify materials meet submittal requirements and are stored correctly.
• Hold meetings with superintendent and subcontractors before new work phases; document findings.
• Review plans, specs, and cost data to identify quality risk factors.
• Perform tests to verify control measures meet contract requirements.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure QC and safety compliance.
• Maintain as-built drawings and QC reporting; document non-conformances and corrective actions.
• Maintain submittal logs and QC records using RMS QCS module.
• Provide daily QC reports and stop work when safety/quality issues arise.
• Ensure inspections and certifications by relevant agencies are completed.
• Assemble and forward project closeout documents.
